System Variables New in 2006

~sings~ These are a few of my favorite things!
Well, not really, but, when you're in a jamb, that odd little system variable can mean the difference between bald patches and a full head of hair.

I always appreciate the detailed list on Hyperpics, and that's where I pulled out all of these variables that are new in AutoCAD 2006. Stay tuned as I add the explanations from the Help files for them.

Something about the fall weather just brings out the system variables in all of us! I also recently started an online help list for AutoCAD system variables although currently mine is for for AutoCAD 2005 system variables.
Here's a direct link if you're intrested

I am creating autolisp routine that reads "entmax" and on various days I get different values. What is done in the model to affect this? I am sure it is something being done to model but still new to AutoCAD color me in fog. I have also key-on "limmax" and had similar experiences.

The problem is the drawing size is [in X] 840 mm and is there a variable that stores this and does not change?

Best regards
