I haven't heard of this command...

I don't think this dialog box exists in AutoCAD, but, based on some deliverables I've gotten, it wouldn't really surprise me...

(for anyone who is curious, this is a spoof of the Cleanup Tools available in MAP and Civil3D
Edit: here's another blog post describing the tools and how best to use them: BeingCivil)

I created this dialog in Visual Studio.

Hilarious! I'm sure we all have a few war stories regarding plans and files we've received that were...hrm...less than ideal. Thanks for sharing this.

~laughs~ That is a remarkably diplomatic way to describe those plans and files.

...and what's worse than having linework directly on top of other linework are the lines that are just offset that tiny bit so as to be only visible on max zoom.....3 cheers for MAPCLEANUP

Oh, amen to that!

~snaps fingers~ Shoot, I should put in an option for 'assign varying Z value to random objects'... how can I say that succinctly?

Okay, there we go, I added the Z option, how does that sound? ;-)

What will all of those people do for the remaining seven hours and fifty-eight minutes of the work day? (I know, improve more files! Sometimes automation is a bad thing.) Thanks for the laugh.
