Salary Survey Results - 9th Annual AUGI Survey

The fall issue of AUGIWorld Magazine is out, and with it, the results of the 9th Annual AUGI Salary Survey.
Drafters, designers, architects, engineers, project managers, programmers and more chimed in. I appreciate those that participated, so we can report on your data. Thank you!

You can find the Salary Survey issue of AUGIWorld Magazine here.

You may have noticed the CAD Manager's column in this issue as well (at least, I hope you did). I was lucky enough to be able to sit down with CADDManager/BIMManager Mark Kiker, a couple of months ago, and we chatted about all sorts of interesting things. Here are links to the podcasts he mentions (the links are also available in his column through the above link).

Finding a Design Job - Part 1
-- Where to look for job postings (and the importance of following basic guidelines)
Finding a Design Job - Part 2
-- The process of the salary survey and how to use information from many sources to get the best overall picture
Finding a Design Job - Part 3
-- A discussion on networking (the importance and benefits of giving as well as receiving)
Finding a Design Job - Part 4
-- How good practices with resumes and cover letters can get your foot in the door
Finding a Design Job - Part 5
-- Interviewing skills (finding out if you're a good fit for a job)
Finding a Design Job - Part 6
-- Increasing your visibility and marketability (presentation, public speaking, your internet presence)

AND, since you all know by now what a big proponent I am of getting your job and salary information from multiple sources, I'd like to ask you to take a minute to participate in the CAD Manager's Survey from Robert Green.
